One of the founding principle for Cornerstone Presbyterian Church was the agreement on the importance of small group ministries to the spiritual growth and development of its members.

The small groups that we currently have in our church vary in size and topic. They are mainly focused on working to grow the member's knowledge and understanding of God, as well as trying to understand how H e wants them to live. Each group is unique in how they study and fellowship. We urge you to visit or contact a small group!

These are the current small groups:

• Women's Fellowship Study
  • Meets 2nd and 4th Tuesday at the Church house from 6:45-8:00 pm, Contact Christine at 360-956-1005
• Warren Group

• Meets the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 7-9pm. Contact Kathy at 360-943-4974
• Defant Group
  • Meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month from 7-8:30pm. Contact Karen at 360-357-5371
• Westside Group
  • Meets the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:30pm. Contact Ross at 360-866-8287.
• College Age Women's Prayer and Fellowship Group
  • 11:00 am Saturday at Cafe Vitta. Contact Andrea at 360-628-0772

• Middle School-High School Sunday Class meets at 9:15-10:15am, the youth also participate in a few annual outings (sledding, bike ride, Halloween party, and more).
• Elementary School Class meets during service from 10:45 -11:45am, as well as VBS for one week during the Summer.
• Nursery opens Sunday morning, from10:45-11:45 am.

Jesus said," Let the little children come unto me..." Children are a gift from God, but with this gift come serious responsibility. At Cornerstone, we strive to equip our children for life to the best of our ability. We have a dedicated group of volunteer Sunday school teachers that love what they do.

The middle school/high school class has a heart for reaching out to others. They have been learning to break out of thier comfort zones, and be servants to one another as well as others in the community.

The elementary school classes are taught from an annually changing curriculum that is challenging, yet sustaining. Cornerstone also hosts a Vacation Bible School for a week during the summer. A Christmas Pageant is also put on during the holiday season that is enjoyed by all.

Cornerstone sponsors two types of Alpha. The Alpha Marriage course, and the general Alpha course. Alpha is a wonderful opportunity to explore the meaning of life in a relaxed and freindly atmosphere among peers. It is a once a week study that lasts for 10 weeks. Each class is filled with food, fellowship, and laughter, as well as questions about God, whether God is really there, where we came from, and where we are going.
